Saturday May 27th and Mildenhall Cricket Club's Cider and Sausage Fest was well underway under a clear blue and sunny sky. The warm weather attracted a large crowd to watch the cricket in the afternoon and then as the barbeques lit up we headed to the highlight of the night - yep -us!
And to be fair we played a corker, it would have been great to have played outdoors unfortunately the close proximity to a number of houses made that a no go. However, it was great to see so many people singing and dancing along to our set, and the feedback afterwards was fantastic.
New in the set time was Callum's first time singing lead on a song, '20 Flight Rock' and he did us proud.
And then at the end of the evening we have the fun of packing up and driving the long drive home, but to be fair I think we had a good innings!
