So our last blog post of what has been a very busy and eventful 2024. It has been our busiest gigging year so far, and over half of our available dates for 2025 have already been booked. It has been a sad goodbye to Paul who was a fantastic drummer and a hello to Pete who had very big shoes to fill. Our last two gigs were back to back over the last weekend in November at The Henry IV in Fakenham and The Lattice House in King's Lynn. Two very different venues but both pubs you should go to if you are in the area
Gigging at this time of year is always a balancing act particularly when two of the group have young(ish) kids, and therefore do not want to spend every moment over Xmas away from home. We have three gigs coming up this month, the first finds us returning to The Cock Inn, in Hadleigh on the 14th December, our second is the Saturday before Christmas 21st December returning to The White Hart in King's Lynn and our final gig of the year is on NYE (again returning to ) The Limeburners in Offton. What makes the coming gigs so special is the support these venues give us by the repeat bookings and just being such great people. In previous years our singer Ray has definitely been The Grinch or Scrooge with his "bah humbug" views on Xmas, but this years it's like he has seen the light and is embracing it so much that we are actually adding a couple of Christmas songs to our set list! Anyway, Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all our followers, family and friends, without your support this would all be so much harder. I'll leave you with a link to our cover of Summer of 69 recorded at the Lattice House on November 30th .
