The Jammy Fakers - Thats us!

Writer: Larry DayLarry Day

So in answer to the question from our last blog, can we do a third 'outdoor' gig in 8 days and not get rained on? The answer is a resounding yes! Indeed this Saturday, although it started a bit cloudy, by the time we

had set up the sun was shinning and it was a lovely afternoon.

The people at The Carpenters Arms in Soham were lovely, both staff and customers. It is odd doing our set in the afternoon, as it is designed to get people up and grooving along with it, which is a big ask at 2 o'clock in the afternoon.

As it was, it was nice to see everyone singing along to the songs.

Once again we had a blast. Pubs like this, which support live music are to be commended, there was a great atmosphere and we really appreciate the efforts that pubs like this go to, in putting on these events.

As a bonus at the end of the set, we were offered a gig by a representative of the Soham Comrades Club who had been watching us. Looks like we are playing there in February. - watch this space!

So to the people of Soham, I say cheers m'dears you are wonderful people and we look forward to playing for you again soon.
